Categorized inventory, complete per-equipment files and review-ready evidence — for facilities in Tijuana, Ensenada, Tecate and Mexicali.
NOM-020-STPS-2011 regulates pressure vessels, cryogenic vessels and steam generators (boilers) operating in workplaces. If your facility runs compressors, air tanks, autoclaves, boilers or pressure/vacuum lines, it very likely applies — and it's one of the first standards an STPS inspection looks at.
Our job is to leave your inventory categorized, every piece of equipment with a complete file, and the evidence organized so a review doesn't depend on anyone's memory. We don't fabricate records: we organize, complete and leave requirement-to-file traceability.
Every pressure/vacuum asset, classified as category I, II or III by its fluid, the set pressure of its safety valve and its volume.
General data, specifications or design calculations, and repair/modification history.
With records proving they actually run.
Category III equipment needs a verification unit's compliance opinion and a notice to the STPS, which assigns it a control number.
Pressure tests or non-destructive examinations at least every five years for category II and III equipment.
Training evidence for the people operating the equipment.
Document control, logs and traceability designed to withstand review.
7–15 business days (scope-dependent)
No noise: three verifiable phases. Deliverables defined before starting.
Operation + evidence + gaps prioritized by impact and urgency.
Structure, versions, records, full evidence index.
Open items closed by criteria. Package audit-ready.
Pressure vessels (air tanks, autoclaves, heat exchangers), cryogenic vessels and steam generators/boilers. Any asset operating above/below atmospheric pressure or under vacuum should be evaluated.
The standard classifies each asset by its fluid, the set pressure of its safety valve and its volume. The category defines the obligations: category I is controlled with a list, a file and inspections; category II adds maintenance programs and pressure tests at least every five years, and category III also needs a verification unit's compliance opinion and a notice to the STPS.
We can include vessel inspection and pressure/vacuum calculations depending on scope. Where an accredited inspection body is required, we coordinate the service and organize the resulting evidence.
We start with a rapid assessment within 24 hours and prioritize by risk. In many cases critical open items close in 7–15 business days, depending on inventory.
A rough count of pressure/vacuum equipment, the plant's city, and the audit date if there is one. We quote within 24–48 hours with a written scope.
Tell us about your case. Within 24–48h you'll receive a written scope with deliverables, timeline, and pricing — no commitment.
If you're not sure which service fits, we quote the minimum viable scope.
